The next generation of MSN Messenger
"Future Of MSN Messenger" is now released but it's still an early beta version.

Windows Live Messenger

If you tried to download it from Microsoft, it will not sign in because only "beta users" are allowed to use / try it.
Well, you can be a "beta user" and use it though.
To use it, you must have an "invitation" from Microsoft.
The thing is that Microsoft made this invitation thing
and ( from my opinion ) everything messed up!
Everyone is saying "oh! I have 5 invitation to giveaway" and now all the web is full with email addresses!! People asking for "invitations"!! It's a BIG mess!

The ONLY way to use Windows Live Messenger
( MSN Messenger 8.0 beta ) is to go to
http://www5.imagine-msn.com/minisites/messenger/default.aspx?locale=en-us and enter your email address there and wait.
The next day you will find your invitation in your Inbox from Microsoft.

The New Messenger's Features:

it is still free to download it and use most of its features.
And there is some remarkable new ways to instantly share and connect with friends.

What you will be able to do with it

• Send all your familiar winks and emoticons, plus some cool new ones
• People can send you offline message, and then you will get them the next time when you are online
• New Name and New user-interface
• Have real-time text, video and voice conversations
• Call your friends' mobile or land-line telephones with Windows Live phone call, and make affordable domestic and international calls
• Easily share documents of all kinds with Sharing Folders
• Make free PC-to-PC calls with other Messenger users

System Requirements

• Multimedia PC
• Pentium 233 MHz process (500 MHz recommended)
• Microsoft Windows XP
• Minimum 128 MB of RAM (256 MB recommended)
• Up to 50 MB of hard disk space for installation, 15 MB to run the program.
• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6 SP1 or later must be installed on your computer, though it does not need to be your default.
• Minimum 800 x 600 screen resolution

Make sure when you download the Windows Live Messenger that the setup file is 11.7 MB and is named "install_messenger_beta.exe".
Because I heard from some people that they have got a virus while downloading it.
